New Studio Space!!!!

I now have new studio space and a retail presence on Washington Street in Irvington on Indy's eastside. I didn't move far--only across the parking lot, but my studio is now street level which means no more stairs and I am much easier to find.

I have formed a business partnership with florist, Miranda Marsico, owner of Bloomz by Miranda, to open the Blooming Dragon Emporium in historic Irvington on Indy’s eastside. In addition to Miranda's floral artistry and my jewelry, the shop showcases a wide array of art and gifts by local artists and artisans, including painter, Steven Keller, jewelry artist Kris Hubick, anime artist Kristin May and potter Lori Swan. The Emporium line will include recycled bags and purses by Freakin’ Billboards, hand-made baby gifts by bellatots, and purses from Inner Goddess Designs. The gift line will also include hand-made greeting cards and a line of herbal bath and spa products.

I will, of courese, continue to offer jewelry making classes. And, Miranda will be offering some classes in floral arranging. Additionally, as time goes on, we want to offer various other art-related classes.

Now, the shop will be open during our posted hours, however, I may not always be there since my schedule is variable based on my schedule of classes. So, if you want to drop in to see me, please contact me first because I don't want to miss your visit.

Irvington Guild of Artists Walk in the Park Exhibit of Art

Some people have been having problems accessing the Irvington Guild of Artists website to access the event brochure and artist application. Those are now also available thru my website at Walk in the Park Brochure and Application. If further assistance is needed please post a comment here and I will email the brochure and application to anyone that needs it.

Online Store

Our online store is up and running. I am using the PayPal shopping cart because I think most people who buy online are comfortable using PayPal. I will accept other forms of payment, but I am asking people to contact me via email or phone to handle those purchases.

At this time I only have the Art Clay products in the store, I will be adding tools and fused glass shortly.

New Blog and Website Redesign

I decided that the best way to post news of happenings and new products for Magickal Dragon Designs was to create a blog for the business. So this is my new blog.

At the same time it was decided that a complete makeover for the Magickal Dragon Designs website was necessary. It has taken days but the website is almost done. I hope to launch the redesigned site later this week with our new online shopping functionality. This is a sneak peek of the new look for our website. And you will note that I have formatted the new blog to have a similar look to our website.
